Library Book Sale – round two

Tomorrow is the actual last day of the sale….books by the YARD….but today was greatly reduced….there were a lot of empty tables but I managed to find a few things today, focusing mainly on cookbooks, literature, and art…

1.  The Amateur Gentleman by Jeffery Farnol

2.  Come for Cocktails, Stay for Supper by Marian Burros

3.  The Red and the Black by Stendhal …because it is a really pretty edition

4.  The Detective and Mr. Dickens by William J. Palmer

5.  History of Collage ….I’d actually checked this book out once upon a time…

6.  Breakfast with Friends by Elizabeth Alston ….cookbook of breakfast foods

7.  Depression Post Office Murals and Southern Culture: A Gentle Reconstruction by Sue Bridwell Beckham….my mother in law would probably like this book…

8.  The History of Clocks and Watches by Kenneth F. Welch….Craig would probably like this book…tooo bad 🙂

9.  Meal Planning and Table Service by N. Beth Bailey…another Craig might like….old ettiquette book…but…His fiance wouldn’t like my enabling his book addiction so I better keep it for my ettiquette collection

10.  Cooking Under Cover:  One-Pot Wonders…..crock pot recipes….my mom might have this book….I’m not sure…

11.  The Southern Heritage Breads Cookbook

12.  The Cooking of Vienna’s Empire (Time Life book…looks like from the 50s)
